It takes a few years sometimes to finally watch some flix. Lara Croft Tomb Raider was certainly not very heavy fare...quite a bit of fantasy (what else should one expect of a film based on a video game?) with some attempts at a few life lessons mixed in--not that I wouldn't mind spending a few days living in Lady Croft's English estate.

I didn't pay enough attention to the rolling credits to see exactly which castle they used though...I guess I'll just have to find the one with a quaint silver Airstream trailer parked out front! ^_^

I was rather disappointed with the Tomb Raider movie. I think they relied on the audience being agog over Angelina and her enhanced Jolies but, since I'm not, it fell flat for me.

cute...enhanced Jolies...sigh...but yeah...it just didn't seem to have substance, err, the movie that is. hmm...what's next in the stack of DVDs...ah, Kill Bill...

Don't go see Doom, even if it comes out of video, even if it's on sale for $2, even if it comes on TV, even if they pay you to see it... ;)

hmm...Doom? So not even worth the cost of the electrons to run the TV eh? wow...but hey, I'm still trying to eek out some time to go see Hahray Pohtah...

Yeah, Hairy Potty denfinetly's worth a watch. I like the previous one better myself, but my friends seemed to really enjoy the this one. Anyway, I give it two thumbs up.
