On The Road - dai yon kai
Dec. 27th, 2006 06:13 amThe weather was a little dicey passing through the NY north country and the mountains of VT, but the roads were kept clear. Every few miles you could spot a DOT snowplow parked in the median or on the side waiting on the conditions. Phew, I hope those cabs had good heat!
So we arrived in good shape, this trip taking less than 6 hours, and have enjoyed visiting with more of the family.
< shhhh >Now to check on some jobs running at work before anyone else gets up.< /shhhh > ~_^

'dough update
Dec. 25th, 2006 06:38 amAnd all through the house, not a critter was stirring...well, maybe the dogs...but ANYway, 'not feeling too bad this morning, so I think I'll be able to enjoy the morning's festivities due to get going in another 3 or so hours.
The situation du jour is the approaching winter storm that may keep us from getting out tomorrow morning. Ahwell...we'll get down-over NH way SOME time along in here. I suspect it's a whole lot nicer having to winter a storm (as to say) in a Victorian mansion than an airport!! ~_~;;
