A new venue

It was a long day yesterday. Ok, I'll admit it up front. I didn't get my run in yesterday morning. My rationale was the fact that I walked up to Old Town in the morning for coffee, then walked up to Fashion Square and back in the afternoon with a stop at the 5th Ave. ArtFest on the way back. I guess it was about 3 miles for walking around. So just call me lazy.

But, Amy and I got all packed up and checked out of the room a little after 10. Toby's office was running a little behind schedule so Robin wasn't by until a little bit later to give us a lift. At the office, it was great to get in a *few* more chats and hugs with Debbie and Linda and to finally have a chance to talk to Miki. I missed Toby, but let's be positive, there will be another time.

Robin whisks us off to the airport a little bit later. She's cool. I guess she is some people's first interaction with things there and I couldn't think of a better "front-line" person. She has to have had more than a few rather nervous people that felt a lot more "at home" by the end of the ride.

Check-in, airport security and the flight all went quite well--always a preferable mode. All our bags showed up at the other side--another preferable mode! And I got my trial run of driving Mika under Amy's watchful eye. ~_^ I like Mika. ありがとうアミチャン。
